Participant Agreement, Competition Rules and Terms of Participation

1. Parties

This Participant Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship, organized by Laser Time LLC (“Organizer”), and the individual registering for participation in the Championship (“Participant”).

By submitting a registration form, checking the acceptance box, and completing payment, the Participant agrees to be legally bound by this Agreement and all related Championship policies and rules.

2. Purpose of the Championship

This Agreement governs participation in the USA Laser Hair Removal Championship (“Championship”), a professional competition for laser hair removal specialists, trainers, educators, clinic owners, students, and industry professionals.

The Championship is an educational and professional competition and is not a certification, license, medical credential, or guarantee of professional competence.

Participation, judging results, awards, rankings, certificates, titles, and recognitions are based solely on Championship evaluation criteria established by the Organizer.

3. Eligibility

The Participant represents and warrants that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the full legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

The Participant is solely responsible for ensuring that they hold any licenses, registrations, certifications, and legal authority required to perform laser hair removal services in their jurisdiction. The Organizer may, but is not obligated to, request proof of eligibility and may decline or revoke participation if eligibility cannot be reasonably established.

4. Participation Terms

By registering for the Championship, the Participant acknowledges that competition results are subjective professional evaluations and may not be challenged, appealed, disputed, or used as grounds for refund requests.

The Participant confirms that all submitted photographs, videos, treatment results, before-and-after images, case studies, and supporting materials have been obtained lawfully and with all necessary client consents required under applicable laws and regulations.

The Participant accepts full responsibility for compliance with all local, state, federal, licensing, privacy, health, safety, and professional regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

The Organizer does not verify medical licenses, laser licenses, insurance coverage, professional qualifications, or legal authority to perform laser hair removal services unless specifically stated otherwise.

5. Competition Rules

Participants agree to comply with all Championship rules, submission requirements, deadlines, judging criteria, and Organizer instructions.

The Organizer reserves the right to reject, remove, disqualify, or refuse any submission that appears misleading, altered, fraudulent, plagiarized, unethical, or inconsistent with Championship standards.

The Organizer’s decisions, judging results, rankings, awards, placements, and winner selections shall be final and binding.

6. Media Release

The Participant grants the Organizer a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote submitted photographs, videos, competition entries, award photographs, names, business names, professional titles, biographies, achievements, and related materials.

Such materials may be used for educational, promotional, advertising, marketing, public relations, social media, website content, publications, press releases, and other Championship-related purposes without further notice or compensation.

The Participant represents and warrants that all submitted materials have been obtained lawfully and that all necessary client consents and permissions have been secured prior to submission, and that such consents authorize the uses described in this Agreement. If any client subsequently withdraws consent, the Participant remains responsible for notifying the Organizer in writing, and the Participant shall hold the Organizer harmless for any use made prior to such notice.

7. Refund Policy

All registration fees, participation fees, nomination fees, judging fees, sponsorship fees, and other payments made to the Organizer are final and non-refundable. See the full Refund Policy.

Registration secures a position in the Championship and covers administrative, judging, marketing, promotional, and organizational expenses incurred by the Organizer.

No refunds shall be provided due to scheduling conflicts, travel restrictions, visa issues, illness, personal circumstances, inability to participate, dissatisfaction with judging results, rankings, awards, or competition outcomes.

The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to transfer a registration to a future Championship event.

8. Event Changes and Force Majeure

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, reschedule, postpone, restructure, or cancel the Championship, or any part of it, including dates, format, categories, judging criteria, and awards, at its sole discretion.

The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government actions or restrictions, civil unrest, war, strikes, utility or platform failures, or other force majeure events.

In the event of postponement or rescheduling, registrations shall remain valid for the rescheduled event. No refunds shall be due solely by reason of such modification, postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation, except where required by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of participation in the Championship.

The Organizer’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Participant for Championship registration.

10. Indemnification

The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its owners, employees, contractors, judges, sponsors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, expenses, or legal fees arising from participation in the Championship or violation of this Agreement.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the Championship, or participation therein shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

12. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the Championship rules and policies referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties regarding participation in the Championship and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications, or representations.

Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.

No Waiver. The Organizer’s failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.

Assignment. The Participant may not assign or transfer this Agreement without the Organizer’s prior written consent. The Organizer may assign this Agreement in connection with a reorganization, merger, or transfer of its operations.

13. Acceptance

By checking the acceptance box and completing payment, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Participant Agreement, Competition Rules, Refund Policy, and Media Release.

This electronic acceptance shall have the same force and effect as a handwritten signature.
